How To Choose Commercial Cleaning Services

Hiring commercial cleaning services San Diego is different than finding a service for the home. Whether it is an office, retail establishment or other business, this type of work is most often done after hours and inconsistent work can often go unnoticed. This is why it is important to do a little more work upfront to ensure you hire a reputable and quality service.

Interview multiple firms. Even if you get a stellar recommendation from a trusted source, talk to at least three firms. This way you can compare prices and approaches. You may learn something from one of the firms or find one offers something unique.

Get references and make sure to call them. Any good commercial cleaner will be able to provide references. Get at least three. Two good questions to ask: Why would you recommend this company? (Not Would you recommend, which gets a yes/no response, and you already know they are recommending the company). The question to include is, What would you change about the way they clean? This allows the person to provide some constructive criticism.

Don't commit without a tryout. If looking for a regular service, have the firm do a couple cleanings before committing to anything long-term. While the company will obviously do their best work, it will give you a sense of how good their best work is. If they don't provide stellar service now, they likely won't get better.

Provide lots of feedback. Be sure to thoroughly inspect the work and provide clear and specific feedback. Also ask employees to provide input. If there are things you like to have done a certain way, point them out. A conscientious service will note these things and be consistent over time. It is also good practice to do a thorough inspection once a month or so. Put this task on the calendar so it isn't forgotten.

Finding reputable and experienced commercial cleaning services San Diego does take some effort. It is worth it as it will save you time and aggravation in the long run. A good screening and evaluation early on will help ensure one gets a service that will do a consistent job.
